Contracted by the US Army, this project tasked our team to modernize and enhance a suite of 10 information systems used by 14 army community service programs responsible for the delivery of clinical and non-clinical social services to service members and their families. The goal of this project was to establish the foundation for a sustainable, data-driven enterprise that enables the integration and innovation of social services that support Solider and Army Family Readiness. The key priorities included standardizing data, improving data integrity, and establishing a new ecosystem that was hosted in the could and utilized open-source architectures where appropriate.

While the team had over 60 people working on this initiative, there was a small subset of individuals that served as social science and HCI leadership that established an user-centered design approach that collected field data related to user needs and workflows and translated those into policy points of opportunity and technical requirements.
